Moving In
I remember helping you unpack
Your blue bedspread.
My lashes sorrow-soaked,
Above us an awning of azure sky,
Covered in clouds—
Cumulonimbus.
Signal of a storm,
Or a rainbow.
Promise that our parting
Will not last forever.
Declaration of spring,
The season when I will see you again.
